Domaine Jean Fournier Marsannay “Les Trois Terres” Vieilles Vignes 2014

“Trois Terres” is één van de mooiste wijnen uit Marsannay. Van kleine percelen met zeer oude stokken in 3 verschillende wijngaarden is dit een bijzonder mooi rijpende, uiterst geurige, volle wijn, een feest in het glas. Deze wijn toont zijn grote klasse pas na enkele jaren fles, maar uw geduld wordt ruimschoot beloond.

The Wine Advocate (Neal Martin): "The 2014 Marsannay Trois Terres Vieilles Vignes comes from La Charmes aux Prêtres, Les Grasses Têtes and Les Grandes Vignes, the vines planted in 1933, 1937 and 1943. This vintage includes around 75% whole bunches (not that this is particularly discernible). Laurent Fournier described this as the "dark side of Marsannay." It has a very pure, slightly sultry bouquet with red cherries, raspberry preserve and blackcurrant scents; it is delineated and focused, gaining in intensity as it opens in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannin, a crisp line of acidity and a gentle grip here with the mouth tingling with limestone on the structured, masculine finish. It will require 4-5 years in bottle and it will repay you with several years of drinking pleasure.” Bourgogne Aujourd'hui #138: “Robe grenat d’une superbe intensité, vive.
